BUCKENMEYER PICTURES / THE CAST
A few familiar faces from my films.
Gloria is my first cousin and my go-to actress. She started out with me on my very first films and has done pretty much anything I've ever asked her to do, including advertisements and music videos. If I were Tim Burton, she'd be my Johnny Depp. She also studied theatre.
Cari is also my cousin. She's a painter and artist who has worked at Warner Theme Park, building sets and playing scary characters in the haunted house attractions. She's a multitalented individual who also happens to be a great actress.
Gaëlle is my better half. Whenever I've wanted to make a simple little film, she's agreed to be my actress, even though she always has a million more important things to do.
Marco is one of my old tennis buddies and was also in my very first film. For some reason, I almost always end up casting him opposite Gloria. Acting isn't his profession, but he's involved in theatre, and I try to get him into my films whenever possible.
Rodrigo is a theatre actor who appeared in two short films I made for Gloria, who wrote the scripts. He's very professional, always prepared and reliable, and does a great job with his roles. He now plays the lead in our latest film, Flor de Loto.
Cari brought along her friend María, also a trained actress, to play the homeowner in Scary Wally, which we made in a single day for a short film contest. She did a great job and was very funny. She's also appearing in Flor de Loto, and hopefully we'll get to work together on more films in the future.
